Virtual Workshop: Building Community Trust & Framing Prevention Wednesday, December 6 | 2:30-4:30pm ET / 11:30am – 1:30pm PT This workshop will focus on framing the prevention field and how practitioners can explain the need for prevention programming. Building on that, it will then focus on how to use this framing to build community trust. We will have discussion facilitators who can speak to many of the communities that this programming is meant to serve, such as faith-based, underserved, law enforcement, bystanders and students, and more [Register here]
Symposium: Metrics & Evaluation Wednesday, January 31 | 8am – 6pm ET We will be convening professionals to address topics such as 1) how to measure the impact of primary, secondary, and tertiary public health initiatives, 2) validated survey instruments and assessment tools, and 3) potential collaborations to develop additional tools. The council is comprised of a multidisciplinary group of experts spanning election administration, election science, occupational health, and public administration. The council will leverage the combined expertise of its members to develop a sustainable talent pipeline, preserve institutional knowledge, and improve job performance and satisfaction – all to ensure that elections are run by experienced professionals.
