Dear {{Constituent First Name}}
As we reflect on the year gone by and look ahead to new opportunities in the year to come, on behalf of the TRUST Network, I want to extend my warmest wishes for a meaningful and fulfilling New Year to you and your team. We are deeply grateful for the continued collaboration, commitment, and trust that you have shared with us.
Moving into 2025, we are excited to share an important development within the TRUST Network. For those of you who have been with the TRUST Network since our beginning in 2020, you may remember our levels of partnership. We are reimagining those levels in our current context.
As we continue to grow and adapt, we’ve taken a moment to refine and clarify the various levels of partnership that will enable us to better engage with the many stakeholders that make our work possible. Each of us plays a vital role in the larger network of peace, collaboration, and democracy, and we believe this clearer delineation will allow you to find the level of engagement that best fits your organization or network's unique goals and capacities.
Here is a brief summary of our four levels of partnership:
Peacebuilding Sector: Building Bridges Focused on preventing violent conflict, fostering understanding, and creating pathways for community healing. Our work addresses sources of tension, promotes conflict transformation, and strengthens community cohesion.
Social Justice Sector: Examining Power & Equity Dedicated to addressing systemic inequalities and promoting social, racial, and environmental justice. We confront discrimination, advocate for marginalized communities, and work to dismantle the legacies of exclusion.
Legal & Judiciary Sector: Advancing Fairness and Accountability in Our Legal System Collaborating with legal professionals to strengthen the rule of law, ensure access to justice, and uphold human rights. Our focus includes promoting fair legal processes, addressing wrongful convictions, and defending justice for all.
Structural Reformers Sector: Defending Democracy, Strengthening Civic Participation Committed to strengthening democratic institutions, ensuring free and fair elections, and fostering civic engagement. We support communities in building the capacity for meaningful participation in democratic governance.
As a living and adaptive network rather than a traditional organization, we are continuously evolving to meet the diverse needs of the communities we serve. We hope these materials will serve as a helpful guide as you consider how you would like to engage with us in the year ahead.
Thank you again for your ongoing partnership. We look forward to another year of working together to advance the principles of peace, justice, and democracy.
Wishing you a happy, healthy, and impactful New Year!
