Dear {{First Name}},
A lot has happened in the six years since the TRUST Network was established. The landscape of actors, organizations, networks and tools have changed dramatically, and we are honored to have contributed to this growth.
There is a multitude of national groups facilitating conversations focused on political violence and the facilitators of hate, division and movement away from a pluralistic, democratized path.
There is a growing number of funders who support efforts that unite and amplify the work of reducing political violence and the movement away from a democratized path.
Many national groups are working with local communities, not as teachers, but learners and weavers, strengthening both the local impact done by local actors, but the national networks as well.
The language has shifted to become one of cohesion, and our efforts are coherent.
Due to funding cuts and despite our best efforts, we no longer have the on-going services of our National Strategic Architect, Dr. Jennifer Grubbs. Additionally, our needs as a country are also significantly different for the coming two years than has been fact during the previous five years.
Accordingly, we are focused on taking this moment for stocktaking and assessment, conferring and consulting with partners and stakeholders, mostly those who were in the room when the TRUST Network started. With that in mind, we will be taking a brief break from hosting the TRUST Network second Tuesday at 2 PM ET gatherings of national stakeholders.
Our plan is to conclude these essential thought sessions by May and will be thereafter hosting the TRUST Network Tuesday at 2 PM ET gatherings of national stakeholders. So please keep a hold for May 12th and June 9th, 2026 at 2pm ET.
The Trust Network will continue to host the second Wednesday at 7 PM ET gathering of local centres who are working across the country to strengthen the connections of engagement in their communities, convening key actors, building cohesion and preventing violence.
We are extremely grateful to Dr. Jennifer Grubbs for her leadership as the National Strategic Architect over the last two years. Jennifer will stay connected as she continues her teaching and advocacy work in this space.
Warm regards,
DG Mown President of the National Associationfor Community Mediation (NAFCM)
